I’m Phil, and most of the job is demystifying.

Ten years in robotics/machine learning, followed by another ten in product leadership. I’ll give you a sharp opinion when it’s earned — often that your first project should be smaller and more boring than planned — but the real work is translating technical reality into a decision you can defend. Pragmatic, rooted in doing, hype-proof.

Do you really publish everything?

Every engagement ships with a full case study — architecture, prompts, evals, and the decisions behind them — published openly. Client data is scrubbed; the method stays in the open.

Who do you work with?

From non-technical SMB owners to enterprise execs and CTOs. The common thread is people wanting pragmatic advice or delivery that isn't hype-based but actually running.

What if we just want an expert we can run things by every now and then?

There is a retainer model for fractional or smaller advisory work. It makes it easy to know I'm around and will answer quickly and completely as needed. We set the fair use terms together.

Do you run workshops?

Yes — half-day or full-day workshops to build AI strategy and/or create a solid intuition for executives and business owners so they feel more confident making decisions.
